Morris Cooper S 67 East African Safari by Vitesse. Model number L039. Scale 1/43rd. This is a model of the Morris Mini Cooper S as driven by Rauno Aaltonen and Henry Liddon in the 1967 East African Safari Rally. The team were forced to retired after dust ingress caused the engine to fail. The model is finished in red with a white roof, a black interior and the rally number 8. It features an excellent amount of detail including white wheels, wing mounted spot lamps and the British number plate HJB 656D. This model is a limited edition, this example being number 1031 of 5000. The model is in excellent condition. The outer card box has a slight amount of shelf wear and there is a crack in the lid. Please note the model featured in the photographs is the item that you will receive.
