This Franciscan Desert Rose soup tureen is in excellent, MINT condition. It is VINTAGE - not the new stuff made in England or other countries - this is from the USA!!! The tureen measures approx 12 1/2" from handle to handle. It stands approx 5" in height without the lid on, or approx 7 1/2" in height with the lid in place. This was recently purchased from an estate sale along with various bowl sizes which I will also be listing at this time. This tureen appears to have never been used. The backstamp which is shown in my second picture says Gladding McBean & Co. Franciscan Earthenware Made in USA. T are no chips, cracks, crazing or any other type of flaw. It actually looks brand new, never used. This is a functional piece as well as a wonderful display piece to add to your collection of dinnerware.
