VNTG MERIDEN BRIT'A PATTERN #1950 COFFEE URN W/STERNO You are bidding on a vintage Meriden Brit'a coffee urn Pattern #1950, trophy style 4 footed coffee urn. Floral and grape design, a shield at the front of the urn and includes the sterno. Measures 17 3/4" tall x 10 1/2" wide handle to handle. Hallmarked on the bottom with Meriden name and pattern # (see photo). Holds 144oz of liquid and does work. When handle is pulled forward, liquid pours nicely and stops with no drips. An estate sale find in very nice condition. The shield on the front is etched with the couple's name that owned the piece, some normal surface scratches from age, a nice darkened appearance yet appears as if it would clean up nicely. Would make an excellent addition to any vintage/antique Meriden Brit'a collection!!!! Any questions, please ask before bidding or winning.
