This is one of several motto pictures I will be listing over the next few days. I will be happy to combine items for shipping. This one measures approx. 6 ¾" square and is titled "PURE GOLD." The verse says: "When we learn to know Life's values, As in time we're sure to do, And begin to sort the tinsel from the genuine and true, and the dross from finer metal, it brings happiness untold, to find one friend among the lot who classifies "Pure Gold." Maurine Hathaway." Down near the frame it is printed "A Gibson Product." Someone has glued a sheet of clear plastic on the back to protect the old paper backing on which is written in ink "To: Beulah McCarty, From: Sarah VanPelt Dec. 25, 1927" and then a list of names and "our group." Picture has a metal loop for hanging. Overall good condition for its age.
