ClicPic ClicPic Gallery Software. Here we have a dear little thing! A Ginny doll, made in the fifties by the Vogue Doll Company. She is a straight-legged walker & walks, but is a little sketchy~you have to have her legs in just the right spot, then she walks great, but otherwise is kinda sloppy. Her hair is original, a shiny redhead or deep strawberry blonde, with curly bangs and plaited into a pair of pigtails. Her eyebrows are somewhat faded & starting to yellow, but still visible & look nice. Her lip color & cheek blush are in fine fettle, while her sleep eyes are a vibrant, clear root beer brown & operate smoothly & easily. She has no stains, splits or odors and has all her fingers. Her dress is a sweet vintage cotton, in a tailored style…it has a round neckline, cap sleeves and a flared skirt. It is off-white with sections of the skirt being a white & orange stripe and the striped fabric on the sleeves as well. There is white ricrac trimming the neck and hemline and it closes in the rear with a white satin ribbon. It is tagged underneath simply, “Vogue Dolls, Inc.” in blue script. Her panties are vintage ribbed white knit, while her stockings are vintage ivory rayon & her shoes are vintage white vinyl mary-janes with the side button closures.
