Here we have a 1952 Vogue Strung Ginny BOY with his original blonde wig in a side part Dutch clip and dark brown eyes. He has no cracks, splits, stains, odors or missing fingers. His cheeks have the 1952 "high spots of color" for blush with no rubs! His wonderful brown eyes work entirely on their own, a rare occurrence in a doll this old. His eyebrows and lashes are well defined and a gray-cardboard color. Appropriately marked "Vogue Doll" on his back and neck, he is tightly strung, can stand on his own, and holds all poses. He is a little bit dusty and may need a gentle wipe down. The bottom of his left foot has a tiny bit of what appears to be glue residue. From what I have been told, sometimes the wooden shoes were glued onto the doll's feet to prevent loss, so maybe that is what is on his sole. It is very minor. He is dressed in the 1952 "Holland Boy" ensemble from the Frolicking Fable series, a blue-gray cotton long-sleeved jumpsuit with tiny rickrack trim, mustard felt "buttons" and original mustard felt scarf (which is so often missing) and the matching Dutch cap. The outfit closes in back with two original hook and eye closures with no rust, and is tagged with the Vogue tag from 1952. It shows appropriate, very light age browning at the cuffs and across the shoulders, but has no rips, or odors, and has never been laundered read more
