3 Vol Set~ARTHUR CONAN DOYLE Sherlock Holmes Best Books You are bidding on a nice antiquarian set of hardcover books titled Conan Doyle's Best Books. In three volumes. You are bidding on the complete set. The set is called Conan Doyle's Best Books, all filled with stories of Sherlock Holmes. Published by P F Collier & Son. T is no publishing date but this set is generally regarded to have been published in 1903. Volume I contains A Study In Scarlet and Other Stories. Volume II has The Sign of the Four and Volume III has The White Company and Beyond The City. Condition: Volumes show some rubbing on the corners. No loose or missing pages, No inscriptions or writing. All three in good condition! BOOK CONDITION GUIDEAS NEW/MINT Without faults or defects, unread, in the same condition in which it was published. FINE An excellent copy almost like new, unread, but may have some very minor shipping, shelving, storage defects to the dustjacket or wraps in form of rubs or scratches with the book possibly having very slight bumps to book's board corners. Pb's without page corner faults. VERY GOOD A lightly used / lightly read book showing some signs of wear on either binding, dustjacket, or wraps. Examples being bumps to corners, a few tiny dustjacket tears. Complete in all aspects normally unless noted. GOOD The average used / read book that has all pages and if applicable, plates present. Some larger type tears to the dustjacket present. Possible endpaper missing or torn. Possibly some foxing (brownish spots) to the pages. FAIR A well used / read worn book that has complete text pages, etc., but is showing excessive signs of said use. Dj's will be torn, chunks/chips missing but still in recognizable form.
