For your consideration is an impressive Volkmar pottery vase. It stands just under 8 inches tall and it is 4 inches across at its widest point. It is signed Volkmar and dated 1910 on its base. At that time Charles and Leon Volkmar were working together at the Metuchen New Jersey Volkmar Kilns. This vase has a repaired chip on the top and side of its lip. Please use the close up photos to asses this repair. Otherwise, this vase is intact and free of chips cracks and other damage. It features an overall crackle or crazed oriental inspired glaze. Even though this vase has been repaired, it is still a very worthwhile piece of American art pottery. B id with confidence. This item is guaranteed to be as described.
