~German Volkstedt Dresden Lace Ballerina ~ This large and beautiful porcelain and lace dancer is a divine display and a fabulous figure for the collector! Produced by Volkstedt of Germany, she has a beautiful face, is modeled in an elegant pose, and she wears a gorgeous dress with multiple layers of frilly pink and white lace. She holds an open fan with handpainted florals and gold gilt trim, and she stands on a raised base that is decorated with pretty porcelain flowers. The figurine measures a large 11 3/8 " tall by 8" wide, and it is in excellent condition with no chips to the porcelain; some minor lace loss, nothing that detracts.
