Beautiful Lace Ballerina... Bursting with color, applied flowers and pure white lace, this gorgeous girl strikes a fabulous pose for this very special figural. She's standing on her toes, her right arm is fully extended, her back is arched, and her left leg is kicked back. At her feet is an open fan and bunches of multi-colored, scattered applied flowers. Her dress is strapless with a deep blue bodice, a row of white lace at the top, and a full, layered white lace skirt with tiny applied flowers. This figure is German porcelain, marked with a blue backstamp, and I'm nearly certain this porcelain girl was produced by Volkstedt. She measures 9.75" tall, and is approximately 7" wide. Truly a spectacular, outstanding display!! Condition : She has a repair on her right arm and hand--I've had her on display for months and never noticed this until she was put under the lights for pictures, then I noticed the color variation on her arm which caused me to examine the area closer. Although in the close-ups you can see the faint hairline on the back of her arm, the chips on the ends of her fingers, and the slight color variation, none of these stand-out nor are really noticeable while displayed.
