Hello and welcome to the auction of my July 1979 Late bayDormobile Campervan project. As you can see from the photos this van is solid as a rock. It has had a new front end welded on recently. The wheel arches are solid, the underneath is solid. It would require little or no welding for an MOT. The 2 front cab doors are totally solid and were imported from South Africa. These are worth £150 each as they are! The sliding door is solid, but has had a patch welded on in the past. The loading bay floor is solid with only a small amount of surface rust and a few patches welded on. The foot wells are solid, so is the battery tray, so is the sliding door runner, so are the rear corners, so is the engine hatch and boot lid… everything is solid! In fact, I don’t know why im selling it. But I have too many other vehicles, just as most VW owners do. All four tyres look to be good and road legal and hold air. The camper will come with some stuff that I have gathered over time and was going to use myself – Brand new windscreen rubber, brand new door mobile pop top seal, brand new engine lid seal and brand new sliding door seal.
