Vortxrex Highbanking/Dryland Dredging Nozzle. This nozzle is designed for highbanking/Dryland dredging. It requires a 5 HP or larger dredge pump to operate. You would install this ahead of a conventional 3" powerjet. This is the jet that was used on the Salmon River in N. California back in 2003. We recovered some very nice nuggets w/ this nozzle ! Good Condition & works perfectly Includes only the nozzle as shown. The pressure connection on this is 1.25" the nozzle is 3" inside diameter w/ a 2.5" restriction ring on the intake. This is a very efficient design & added to a conventional dredge will let you operate like a highbanker. I recommend using a separate engine/pump to run the nozzle. Unlike a conventional suction nozzle, this does not need to be underwater. The nozzle pulls in a mixture of air/water/gravel. The large valve allows you to regulate the air intake & fine tune the slurry being pulled into the nozzle When it is set up correctly it will pull in rocks up to 2.5" (that is the restriction size at the intake) If you can get any larger rocks out of the in coming slurry, the nozzle will work by itself.
