About 2,500 years ago Gautama Siddhartha, a man who had renounced his princely title to lead a life of meditation, was sitting under a tree and realized what was the cause of suffering in the world. FROM THAT MOMENT ON he was BUDDHA, and his teaching have become a world religion of positive teachings that allow one to feel hope, peace and happiness.

The Buddha shows the way of being set free so anyone can find enlightenment and do it by taking the examples he brought forth from his own experience and allowing each person to reach the highest state of being on t on terms. That is why t are so many Buddhist saints that have found enlightenment through killing animals, eating meat, through alcoholism aka drinking and gambling as examples for extremes. T was even a monk that reached the enlighten state of Buddha by just laying down. In Buddhist teachings nothing is impossible and your path and what you do is never questioned since it is truly yours to own and who's to say you don't know what is best for you certainly all paths can lead to great awareness through the path you are on right now.

The most dedicated to the Buddhist teachings are the monks and Lama's whom have to perform as required many different rituals and lessons to understand the teachings.
