Black full morocco binding, raised bands, lettered in gold on spine. Profusely illustrated with 48 full-pg. and approx. 350 smaller illustrations by Dore. 554 pages mistakenly numbered 354., Contents. All edges gilt. Mostly very clean inside, endpapers are a bit foxed, and the occasional small brown mark only. Good condition for 148 years old. First edition with the DORE illustrations.
