Lunch box- The classic Science Fiction TV series by Irwin Allen. Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, based on the 1961 movie of the same name, ran from 1964-1968. It was the decades longest running American Science Fiction series. Starred Richard Basehart and David Hedison.Box is embossed, artist is Elmer Lehnhardt, dated 1967. Box is missing the plastic handle and one metal bracket. Has paint wear in the black area. Some wear to the raised surface- Admiral Nelson's shoulder area. Seaview side- some rusting to the white areas- logo, sub lights/edges, fading ? Is the Octopus really pink ? Please look at the photos for the best description of condition. Very hard to find and rare box.Lunch Boxes - Please Note - The lunch boxes up for sale were found stored in an attic. All of the boxes were used by children. They are in average condition with some scrapes, rust, or minor dents. I have taken photos of the front, back, and all sides, along with the interiors.
