I am pleased to offer for auction this outstanding estate liquidation item. It is a vintage C.S. Bell & Co. #3 bell complete with yoke and cradle. This is a great find and a large old bell that you don't get a chance to buy much any more. This bell is 18" in diameter at the base. It is 11" tall, not including the yoke. It is 15 1/2" tall including the yoke. The condition of the bell is very good with surface rust. It still has it's original dinger. T are no cracks, chips or repairs. The bell is marked on one side, "3". The original yoke is marked on one side, "C.S. Bell & Co.", "3", "Hillsboro O.". The other side is marked, "#3 Yoke", "3", "1886". One tip of the yoke hinge has been cut off as I will show in pictures. The cradle appears not to be original, but is in good usable condition. The cradle fits the yoke very well. This great old bell was hanging in the back yard of a old estate liquidation in a historical part of Kansas City, MO. The ring of this bell is deep, loud and clear. I will ship this bell by UPS ground. The shipping weight is 92 lbs. I will add $10.00 to the actual shipping cost for handling. I will show as much as possible in the pictures, as they speak a lot louder than words. This is a little piece of very early Americana and one that you shouldn't let get away! Good Luck Bidding!!!
