Vintage 30's tin wind up doughboy soldier walker toy. This piece in better cosmetic shape than it looks. It was very dirty when I originally received it, and I spent a bunch of time cleaning it up, but it still needs a little more (as you can see in the photos). There is a little wear to be found in places as well. Still retains the original hat and key.This piece measures roughly 6" tall and 2.75" wide. Currently this piece will wind up but will not start moving. If you force it to wind backwards, after it has been wound, the legs will move. But it will not walk on its own. I'm assuming the next collector/buyer will be able to fix this. Or give it the little extra cleaning needed and use as a display piece.Please see photos, and ask questions before buying.
