Rare vintage 1940-50's genuine steerhide Hercules Outerwear / Sears, Roebuck, & Co. motorcycle jacket. Pistol or D pocket with patch cigarette pocket, Action back with spot work. Red nylon lining with corduroy trim along waist, top of inside pocket and at the base of both armpits. Six Talon zippers, two front pocket zippers work perfectly but are missing pulls. Both sleeve zippers work perfectly though the left sleeve could use 1/2 an inch of restitching along the zipper seam at the cuff (right sleeve zipper is fine). Main zipper is fickle at bottom and missing a chunk of about 7 teeth directly bellow left lapel. Jacket shows age with patina around the collar, elbows, and cuffs. No rust on snaps, buckle, or zippers. No tears, or rips in leather. Slight tear in nylon inner lining below left armpit about one inch in length (easily mended). No rips in cotton clothe lined pockets.
