We have for your consideration this wonderful Opportunity((Vintage 1949 CUSTOM COPPER Royal KMG ))This is the Royal KMG from 1949We found this machine at a nice sale.Note: This machine will require special packaging, please see shipping cost breakdown at end of listing.Typewriter Restoration:Unless otherwise noted, all of our vintage typewriters have been restored to their "as designed mechanical condition". I have been a professional typewriter repair technician for going on 10 years. Each machine is cleaned, oiled and mechanically adjusted or repaired. All parts are original unless otherwise stated. Some damaged original parts may be replaced by parts from identical typewriters or new reproduction parts, if appropriate. Our machines are meticulously tested and fully functional when shipped . R ead some Worldwide Feedback's on our typewriters at the end of this description.Photography Note : I am not a professional photographer and shooting highly reflective objects can at times be very challenging, I apologize for anything blurred.Thank you for considering this 1949 CUSTOM HAMMERED COPPER Royal KMG .Mechanical and Cosmetic Disposition: This is a used vintage machine that has been around for 70 years. It does have a few minor details that you should be aware of. We meticulously inform our buyers of "all details" no matter how small. This machine has some minor sub-surface handling marks. The characters under the glass keys are slightly stained from use and age. We went through the entire machine and all parts are sound and functioning as designed.We did make the following repairs: We installed a new Black and Red Ribbon. Mechanically this machine is now very sound and functions as designed. The machines' body has been cleaned, de-greased and then multiple coats of protective Hammered Copper Enamel was added for the awesome Copper like finish. Like all of our custom machines, it comes with our new custom wood spacer bar for the finishing touch.This 1949 CUSTOM COPPER Royal KMG. This KMG has the patented Magic Margin system, whereby holding down the right or left margin lever and sliding the carriage to the desired location "magically" set the margin. The original, glass-topped keys are all still in place. Some have been replaced with plastic keys, a common practice back in the 50's. It offers many sophisticated features that are unavailable to portable machines, such as automatic tab setting and clear as well as keyboard tension adjustment. Because of its heavy duty construction, Royal desk models were preferred by business professionals, journalists and schools at the time. These are great machines.Please examine the photos for grade quality and the disposition.This Typewriter and was given the Serial Number KMG-3969699We left the back stencils as found, although hard to read there was enough information still readable that we did not want to cover them up.The Keyboard has Black Glass Capped Keys with White characters .The carriage return is very smooth, and you will hear a "loud ding" at the end of each line.We have made the new custom wood spacer bar our trademark for all of our custom machines.The mechanics have been meticulously tested and will be tested again before we package the machine for shipment.This is a Beautiful Custom machine in great working condition .Please examine our close up photos for grade quality and disposition of this nice classic,This nice Custom Hammered Copper collectible has a keyboard classified as a "Pica", typing at 10 characters per inch.Simply a wonderful machine that is very responsive and is just fun to type on.Simply just a wonderful addition to your vintage office or collection.<< We specialize in packing your valuables with "extra care", to survive the shipping process >>Note on Shipping Cost: This heavy and fragile machine will require extra protection for shipment.
