Vintage circa 1950s leather and canvas French hunting bag. . Thick leather flap with webbing strap and canvas bottom. Keep net under the flap which looks to be a more recent addition to it- its secured in place with rivets. Leather strap holders. Leather cartridge holders inside and faux leather middle compartment and inner doc pocket. Being sold "as found"- its been used for hunting during its lifetime as opposed to a fashion/coffee shop lounging bag, therefore please read the notes below so you know exactly what you're bidding on. 14" across, 3" deep in one section, 1 1/2" deep in the other, 10" tall. The strap is approx 49" long and can be made shorter. * The leather parts have darkened over use from hunting and is marked on the inside and outside with stains, nicks, scuffs and marks here and there that add up to a great natural vintage patina. The canvas parts are stained and marked from hunting plunder. The net is worn and marked in places. The strap holders are still strong as is the strap. Its musty from use and various preserving treatments through the decades so if you're sensitive to this type of thing then it won't be right for you. All sales final, no buy it now, thanks : )
