(title) Rare 1950’s York Barbell Olympic 390lb Weight Set VTG (sub title) Mint Ship Wheel Collars.. NEVER SEEN on EBAY Before I’ve been emailed/called left and right about this York Barbell set. I have people that want the Deep Dish Plates, The Rare Olympic Bar and let’s not forget the collars. From what I’m told the Collars are the holy grail of York Barbell Olympic items. There have been other York Ship Wheel collars on ebay before but never in this near perfect shape. These are all intact and none of the “BALL” ends have been broken off. As rare as all these items seem to be, I think the rarity is that this set is complete. Most of this set has stayed intact for the last 60+ years. Anyone can piece a set together, but not many can have a set like this one. I’m selling it the same way it may have been purchased from York Barbell. I’m sure all of these items will pop up sooner or later, but I highly doubt a complete 400lb York Barbell set will. So with that being said, I’d like to try and sell it as a complete set. I really think that’s best. But if you’d like certain items feel free to make me a fair offer.
