This is for Vintage 1956 United States Marine Corps Drill Manual Softcover Book. NAVMC 1131-AO 3. It is in good used condition. It has a little wear to the cover and spine. All the pages are intact, no tears or rips. It has no handwritting in the book. The pages are a little yellowed. Department of the Navy Headquarter U.S. Marine Corps, Washington 25, D.C.. Inside its signed by publications officer Captain "R.K. Adams", USMC. This military item was acquired from the estate of Mrs. Ruth Ellen Bowers, wife of USMC GySgt Walter Russell Bowers. Please read additional information about USMC GySgt Walter R. Bowers and family; USMC GySgt Walter Russell Bowers. DOB 12/25/1918. DOD 4/29/1970. GySgt Walter R. Bowers served in active duty in the Korean War (1950-1953) and continued to serve through the Vietnam War. GySgt Walter R. Bowers passed away 4/29/1970. GySgt Walter R. Bowers is buried next to his wife Ruth Ellen Bowers at Arlington National Cemetery. GySgt Walter R. Bowers and wife Ruth Ellen Bowers had two sons. Their oldest son Robert R. Bowers served in the USMC sometime during the late 1950's - 1960's. Robert R.
