Vintage, RARE 1971 Peanuts and the gang CHARLIE BROWN Baseball figurine ceramic coin bank. Circa 1971. By UNITED FEATURE SYNDICATE, INC. Stands7 1/4" Tall x 4 1/2" Wide, hand to glove x 2 7/8" Across the bottom. Beautiful features, colors are still nice and vivid. The baseball he's holding has the "seam" pattern around the ball ! The glove has the detailing of a real glove on the exterior and interior surface.. Little bit of his black hair is peeking out on the back of his cap. Beautiful facial features, adorable "round" nose. Mouth, eyes and eyebrows are cut into the face, then hand painted with black paint. This is made of nice, thin ceramic. It is not heavy or bulky like thick ceramic coin banks. Just gorgeous. What a nice gift for the Peanuts and the Gang collector. It is in great condition. I felt a tiny bit of "roughness" on the side of his cap on his left side, but it is not missing any paint or ceramic, I think was manufacturer made.. There is a tiny crack on the little black button that's on the top of cap, but it is intact and the color is still there. The black plastic plug was intact, then I decided to remove it to take interior photos, it cracked into several pieces. See photo # 9. Stamped on bottom: 1971 UNITED FEATURE SYNDICATE, INC.
