Offered here is a vintage heavy brass traditional style candlestick table lamp most likely made by the Stiffel Lamp Co. of Chicago.The usual paper foil tag on the socket is not present, so I cannot say for sure that it is a Stiffel,but I have owned and sold many lamps and this certainly looks and feels like Stiffel quality and weight. This lamp is in excellent condition with hardly a mark or scuff to be found. There are no missing or broken pieces. T here are no tarnished areas on the brass and there is no damage. The three-way socket and switch work properly and the electric cord is fine. Felt covers the bottom to protect furniture and there is a small paper label with 185 on it, another typical Stiffel hallmark. Measurements are 13" to the top of the candlestick portion, 17 1/2" tall to the socket top, 23" to the harp shade rest and t he base is 6 1/2" in diameter. Excellent quality and heavy, this lamp has traditional neoclassical styling that will enhance any room.
