VTG 33" VENETIAN MURANO SOMMERSO GLASS BEADS NECKLACE

VINTAGE 33.5" LONG VENETIAN MURANO SOMMERSO ART GLASS BEADS NECKLACE This is a longer than usual Venetian glass bead for these style beads and it measures end to end 33.5" long. The necklace has a substantial weight and feel coming in at 120.6 grams. It can be worn all one length or doubled. The necklace is strung on purple cord and there are amethyst color crystal beads to complement the blue and lilac colors of the Sommerso beads--it is knotted in between sections of beads. There are two sizes of Sommerso beads--picking one of the larger beads at random that looks representative in size it measures 12mm's (7/16") in diameter. The smaller blue accent Sommero beads measure around 10.5mm's (3/8"). The amethyst color crystal accent beads are in two sizes and measure 6mm's down to 5mm's. CONDITION: excellent vintage condition. The beads being handcrafted do vary some in size and shape one to the other and there may be some natural imperfections that are intrinsic to their artisan created nature. The vintage clasp is stamped "Silver" and it has a goldtone plating, which is intact--it is a slide-in style of clasp and it works correctly.
