Good day and thank you for checking out our auction. /retro-orter Todays auction is for a Joe Dimaggio endorsed, Spalding mnaufactured, model 133 baseball glove. Nice strong Dimaggio stamping. Model number is light but still clearly visible. Measures 10" wide by 9" tall. Web lacing appears to not be original. Other than that all original lacing throughout. Inner lining is soft at the base and has some minor chaffing on the interior. Great for any baseball glove collection. Please check out all of the pictures and all of the other vintage sports related items we currently have listed. : ( 1914-11-25 )November 25, 1914 Martinez, California Died: March 8, 1999 (1999-03-08 ) (aged 84) Hollywood, Florida Batted: Right Threw: Right MLB debut May 3, 1936 for the New York Yankees Last MLB appearance September 30, 1951 for the New York Yankees Career statistics Batting average .325 Hits 2,214 Home runs 361 Runs batted in 1,537 Teams New York Yankees ( 1936 – 1942 , 1946 – 1951 ) Career highlights and awards 13× All-Star ( 1936 , 1937 , 1938 , 1939 , 1940 , 1941 , 1942 , 1946 , 1947 , 1948 , 1949 , 1950 , 1951 ) 9× World Series champion ( 1936 , 1937 , 1938 , 1939 , 1941 , 1947 , 1949 , 1950 , 1951 ) 3× AL MVP (1939, 1941, 1947) MLB record 56-game hitting streak New York Yankees #5 retired Major League Baseball All-Century Team Member of the read more
