For your consideration, up for auction is a vintage 1950-60’s hand blown authentic Mexican BUBBLE swirled GLASS pitcher and 4 glasses . This is an incredible set!! It is one of several vintage Mexican bubble glass items I have up for auction. This set has everything you want in vintage Mexican glassware. You have small bubbles, harder to see because of the color and swirls, but they are t This set has wonderful swirled color throughout the opaque white glass. And of course all glasses and the pitcher have the distinct pontil on the bottom w the glass blower cut off the hot glass.

The big wow about the set is the uniqueness to it. Each piece was hand blown around a piece of brass that has cutouts for the glass to protrude. Another funky thing about this set is of course is each glass is different in shape and size. Two glasses have the same darker colored gold swirl, while one glass has a lighter more orange colored swirl and the other glass has a purple swirl. The swirl in the pitcher is a cranberry colored. Approximate measurements for each is as follows:

• Pitcher- 6 7/8 inches high, 7.25 inches long from spout to handle and 4.25 inches in diameter across the top.

• Purple footed glass – 6 inches high and 2.25 inches in diameter across the top.

• Light orange water glass – 5 inches high and 2 3/8 inches in diameter across the top.

• Darker gold footed glass – 7 5/8 inches high and 3 3/8 inches in diameter across the top.

• Darker gold non-footed glass – 4.25 inches high and 3 7/8 inches in diameter across the top.

All glasses are in mint condition with not chips or cracks. The only issue is t is a crack on one of the glass protrusions on the pitcher. The crack is in the one square in between the handle. I have tested it and it does NOT leak. I have let the pitcher sit for hours and nothing leaked out. T is some tarnish to the brass (looks like someone had tried to clean it at some point) but I will leave it up to the new owner to decide if they want to clean it up or not. I think this makes a FANTASTIC set and the fact that every glass is different will make it easy for people to keep track of their drinks. ☺ Please note that this is heavy glassware so this set combined does weigh a lot.
