Vtg 50?s 60?s 70?s 700+ Lot 35mm Slides Detroit Masonic Vtg 50’s 60’s 70’s 1200+ Lot 35mm Slides Detroit Masonic Family Collection Moslem Shriner Events, Travel, Holidays ’s an amazing collection of 35mm color slides, from the late 50’s, through the 60’s, and into the 1970’s. This extensive collection is from one family in the Metro Detroit area, and includes family events, holidays, parties and vacations, with the main focus being on Detroit Masonic and Shriner events, conventions, parades, and t’s even a box of slides taken at the Detroit Shrine Circus at the State Fairgrounds in 1957. Shriners traveling, Shriners on motorcycles, group photos, you name it, even Shriners in Hawaii ! T are a couple of very nice portraits of Shriners getting ready for a parade, and a great assembly of motorcycles too. T is also one set of photos from someone’s filling station in the late 50’s, early 60’s, including a nice portrait as well. I have not been able to go through all of the photos, as t are SO MANY; I have shown a sampling so you can get an idea of what is included. T are literally over 16 pounds of slides, including the holders, boxed and ready for shipping. I have estimated t to be 1200+ -- the lot is probably more like 1500+. Offered at a very reasonable reserve. The photographer apparently was not a professional, but most of the slides are well-exposed. Some are a bit light, some are a bit dark, but t are SO many that it does not have an appreciable impact on the overall quality of this lot of images. More than half of them are stored in their original boxes from the photo lab. The rest are stored in “Airequipt” slide cassettes that were used to project them. I have only removed a few from these holders to photograph them and then put them back. They will be shipped inside the holders and you can remove them if you like, or project them that way if you have an Airequipt projector. This set is offered as-is, as found, with no returns. Please ask any questions you have prior to bidding and before the end of the auction. A short note about my Terms of Service: IF you bid, I expect you intend to follow through and complete the transaction. A bid is considered a legally binding contract. New policies regarding feedback make it possible for NON-Paying bidders to complicate the process without negative consequences. IF you win the auction and then decide not to complete the transaction, I will complete the NON-Paying bidder process and re-list the item. Non-paying bidders are not helpful to those of us who earn our living selling All I ask is that you contact me within 2 days of winning the auction, let me know when I can expect your payment, and stay in contact if need be. Disappearing winners are a waste of time. Please be responsible. Of course I wish for all of my customers to be satisfied with their purchase. To that end, I do not leave feedback for any transaction until I know you have received your item and are satisfied with it. PLEASE do not expect me to leave you positive feedback once you pay for the item. The ebay experience is a two way street and I want it to be a good one for both of us. Once I have heard from you via the feedback system, I will leave feedback as soon as possible. Communication is very important. A note for my international bidders: I am happy to ship overseas but at this time am only shipping via USPS Express Mail International. This is NOT because I think you want the item quickly. It is because this is the only method that allows for tracking, insurance, AND a signature upon delivery. Without tracking, I have no way of knowing what happened to your package if you do not receive it. This is for your protection as well as mine. I will NOT ship first class.
