Vintage 1961 firemen's fire department issue double breasted navy coat/jacket ~ double row of silver FD embossed buttons along the front of the coat ~ lower flap pocket on each front side of the coat ~ coat buttons all the way up with a hidden button underneath the right underside of the collar ~ the collar can also be buttoned-up as well ~ inner adjustable toggle cotton string on each side of jacket ~ blue quilted interior ~ leather piping along the edge of each sleeve as shown in the 2nd photo ~ union label ~ made by Gerber Manufacturing Co. Inc...Mishawake, Ind ~ for Sioux City, IA fire department ~ order on inside tag dates this as 1961 ~ Gerber Fould Weather Coat...duty-jacket theme ~ all nylon duty twill. I do not detect any holes, rips, loose stitching, missing buttons, etc. Condition is excellent vintage!

Length...taken from top of shoulder to hem: 33.25"

Underarm to underarm: 24.75"

Sleeve length...taken from top of shoulder: 25.75"

Shoulder to shoulder: 20.25"
