Rare vintage hand signed 1972 David Shiffer iconic smile pin, hand painted and signed by the artist. A little work of art from the pop era! Signed 'David Schiffer 1972'. David was an artist working in the pop style, like his contemporaries Warhol, Peter Max, Robert Indiana. David's work was carried by high end stores in the 1970's. This is from a small group of unsold stock I acquired that came from Saks. This was the only piece that did not have a tag, but it's new old stock, not previously owned/worn. It's my last one. I had a few of these pieces and they are now gone. Very hard to find. Made of painted resin. There are brush strokes and hand made touches which add to the charm. Plus his cursive signature on side. A gem of a find.
