Up for your consideration is the ultimate '90s artifact-- an XL Nirvana all-over print t-shirt from the "In Utero" era. "Heart Shaped Box" was their big single from the follow-up to "Nevermind" and I remember this shirt on the back of many a moneyed middle schooler at the time. This particular shirt was bought off a roadie for many well-known bands in the early 2ks and sat under my bed until the motivation finally arose to cut it loose. Most of the shirts in this batch were worn once (or not at all), I suspect this shirt was never worn, but cannot be sure. The shirt itself is in perfect condition, but the printing process for all-over print shirts often leads to some ink buildup near seams, and this one is no exception- I photographed the areas where the ink is a little thicker, for full disclosure, but you won't EVER, ever, E-V-E-R, find an all-over print shirt from this era without these "unique" inconsistencies- they simply did not have the technology they do today and a little buildup at seams was unavoidable.
