Vintage Aladdin BONANZA Thermos Up for auction is this wonderful Vintage BONANZA Thermos by Aladdin. Recently found when cleaning out the basement, this thermos was part of an original Bonanza Lunchbox Set that was my Husband's. (circa late 60's?) Unfortunately, we sold the Lunchbox w/o the Thermos on ebay a few years back. From it's condition I'm guessing the reason why this thermos wasn't stored away w/the lunchbox is because it wasn't used daily (if at all). This thermos is in Remarkable Shape - one of the best I've seen from this time period. It's standard lunchbox size - 8oz, complete w/all three pieces, inside is bright and shiny chrome-like and free of stains and positively no odor. Plastic red cup/cap pieces are still bright red shiny and virtually free from any surface marks typical of wear and use. Bottom of thermos is also shiny metal and without rust w/only a small amount of dark spots. And finally the outer Bonanza graphics are vivid, bright, clear and smooth all the way around with no dings or dents. The only issue I can find w/this thermos is an area on the graphics that has a small amount of pitting. The area affected is approx. 1" x 1" (please refer to photo) with a dark pitted spot about 1/4" wide and some tiny pinhole pit marks around it.
