Up for offer is this Awesome and unique antique lamp, Formed by nature! This is just a magnificent piece. The natural design form of the wood is truley amazing. It is quite old antique aprox 1930's-1940's according to original owner. As you can see in pictures the lamp works fine, It has the original early cord and hardware fixture. The wood appears like old cypress root or possibly drift wood. The color of the wood and shape appears to be cypress to me. It did come from an amazing rustic style mansion estate home in Southern Florida. It really captures attention in a room, making a great conversation piece. No matter what angle you display the lamp it has amazing form and character. In one of the photo's it almost resembles a seal, in others is appears as it is growing from the table as the roots spread about the table top. And others have said it has an eerie look to it has well. The wood has no varnish on it, just household furniture polish, this also add's to it's beauty being all natural smooth with no glossy paint!
