UP FOR AUCTION: Here is a gorgeous set of 39 MURANO glass beads. With the beads come the necklace's original gold toned clasp and spacers (shown), also known as brass caps. I am almost certain that these beads are pre 1940's. Also pretty certain the beads from my necklace are made by Ercolle Moretti from their overall feel and appearance. Initially, this necklace was knotted in between each bead with multi colored two-ply thread. One color was red; I think the other was yellow. The beads are different colored ranging from bright reds to deep blues. ALso present are: green, yellow, white, brown, etc. It is best to study my photographs to gain the best sense of the necklace's overall condition and appearance. The brass spacers may have darkened slightly from age. All beads are smooth and show very minimal signs of wear. Each bead measures approx. .75" in length. Oval in shape. The measure just under .5" in diameter when measuring the short side in width. All beads are almost exactly the same size. One or two brass caps may be missing.
