This artisan made necklace has a neck opening of 28" with an additional drop of 3" for the pendant. The necklace portion holds round "turquoise" beads in 8mm and 15mms. They have horizontal striations and are polished shiny. There are also 1" long hollow copper tube beads with a copper wire wrapped around the middle. There is no clasp, it is long enough to just put over your head. There is a closed hook and loop at the back should you prefer to use it or decide to add a clasp. The extra large pendant is 3 1/8" long x 2 5/8" wide. It is solid copper with darkening on the front from heat applying of the raised wiggly lines. A large turquoise stone decorates the front, it is riveted on. It has white striations like quartz. It is hand carved with an Indian, Incan or Aztec pattern. The copper edge is hammered. The beads and icon are turquoise blue colored but may actually be lapis or quartz. They have a glassy stone finish and no veining so I don't know exactly what they are. This necklace is in great vintage condition. A gorgeous one-of-a-kind statement piece. If you like large necklaces this is a lovely find. Unisex. Payment is appreciated within 4 days of purchase.
