Up for bids is a vintage, mod era Barbie doll. It's a Standard (painted eyes, no real lashes, pink-toned, straight-legged body.) from the 1960's. I think they made the standard from 1967-69. I don't have a suit to better date her. She has a side glance if that helps an expert out there. She has very ash blonde hair--it's about all the way to ash gray, it's so ashy. That is one thick, shiny, gorgeous head of hair she has. I got a question from an Ebayer about whether the body is the correct Standard's body. I double checked the body in the Dewein's Encyclopedia of Barbie Dolls & Collectibles, and her body has the exact wording on her right buttocks that it should have. I also double double-checked it in Melillo's Ultimate Barbie Doll Book, and the body this doll has is, indeed, the correct body.
