This is a beautiful paper birch basket totally hand stitched together. It has a wood loop top and bottom which the bark is stitched to so it will hold its shape. It looks like the northeastern birch products, but is unmarked. I've been using it as a waste paper basket next to the computer and I'm afraid I'll knock off the bark peeling up in such pretty curls on the side. It deserves to have someone who will give it some respect. We make it work, but it hasn't complained. It's about 9.5 inches in diameter and about 12 inches tall. Look at the pictures. It's the best way to know what the item is. It's just been put in an antique mall, so it is subject to prior sale. If it sells there, this listing will be ended. Email if you have questions.
