LARGE BIRD FLORAL FIGURE Approx. 14 1/2" tall x 23" span on branches Highly unusual piece! Age/origin unknown. Possibly brass, bronze or some type of metal. Please determine for yourself. Very HEAVY at approx. 9.5 lbs. The can in the photo is for visual purposes only to help establish the size of the piece. Overall condition is good for age. This item is not new and not represented as such. Expect typical signs of age/use/wear. Upon close inspection, I see a little nudge on back feather. On the base there are a few small places where the material does not completely mesh. It does not interfere with the integrity of the piece. This may have happened in manufacturing. Uncertain, but just wanted to mention for accuracy. The branch arms pivot somewhat on a center screw so you can adjust as needed. The bird is perched atop a branch and has an acorn in it's beak. This makes a stunning centerpiece and is a great conversation starter. Displays nicely. I do not see a makers mark and have no additional information on it.
