This is for the Western Electric rotary dial telephone as shown - Made in the USA. This is known as a 5302 style - it is a hybrid made by the phone company in the 40's during the switch over in style to the standard 500 sets. It has a 302 style base (1946) with a newer thermoplastic shell dated 1961. This has a standard household modular jack that is hardwired - see photos.NOTE NOTE NOTE:DIALING OUT does NOT WORK on Cable Lines OR VOIP like Magic Jack, but the phone should still ring and can be used to talk on - just the dialing out may not work without a standard old time landline. Since we don't know what kind of carrier you may have - there is NO guarantee that the rotary will dial out - new telephone line technologies do not support the dialing.PLEASE READ ALL.SPECS:Basic Date: this is a true Frankenstein phone (dated inside 1946 through the 50s) - the phone company owned and fixed these phones for years and most have varying dates on the piecesShell material: Outer shell is hard plastic.
