From the estate of an avid collector, offered here is one VINTAGE BPOE NJ ELKS LODGE #74 HAND-CARVED 11 O'CLOCK TOAST CLOCK FACE / EMBLEM . Not a working clock, but a round wooden piece measuring approximately 20" in diameter featuring a beautifully hand-carved clock face with wreath surrounding & elk's head (the BPOE official emblem) along with the lodge #74 at center. The back is also carved & features a nice geographical design with an eight pointed star. At every meeting of the BPOE, and every social function, when the hour of 11:00pm tolls, the Lodge conducts a charming ceremonial known as the 'Eleven O'clock Toast.' In fact, the clock tolling the eleventh hour is part of the BPOE official emblem, and is directly behind the representation of an elk's head in the emblem of the Order.
