Vintage Brown Glass Creed Sterling Catholic Rosary This is a lovely contemporary rosary made with brown glass beads and sterling silver hardware including the crucifix, the matching center medal and the attached secondary medal . All 59 beads are present. The oval AVE beads are 7 mm. long and the round double capped PATER beads are 5 mm. Both the crucifix and Sacred Heart center medal are marked CREED sterling on the reverses. The secondary cut work medal is also marked sterling. The total length of the rosary when laid flat extends to 22 inches and weighs 27 grams. The silver plated metal case is in the shape of a book and has a picture of Christ the King. The box has elaborate scroll decorations on the back, front and sides. The clasp closes tightly and the hinges work perfectly. The interior is lined with felt. The box measures .50" deep by 2.0" wide by 2.5" tall and weigh s 43 grams. Both the rosary and metal box are in Very Good condition.
