Vintage Carved Wood Bottle Stopper/Pourer

This is a nicely made vintage bottle stopper of carved wood.

It resembles an Anri piece; I do not know for sure if it is Anri or not.

It measures 4" x 2 1/2" x 1 3/4", including cork AND including metal spout rod sticking out from the cork.

The head can be tilted back using the finger, to reveal the inside of the mouth, and the pour spout.

Carving is nicely detailed with textured hair and expressive facial features.

Shipping is $4.00 via First Class Mail to U.S. addresses $6.00 to Canada and $8.00 to everywhere else. International buyers are welcome but ebay requires me to advise you that YOUR country may charge import and/or customs fees and extra duties plus their in-country postage. These costs are NOT INCLUDED in your purchase with me. I will not falsify export documents to avoid these fees.

The stopper is in very good condition, wood is free of any splits or dings. The cork does have some tiny little crevice like lines and bottle indentations; but it remains flexible and intact, it is not dried out or crumbling.

Nice stopper for the collector!

I just noticed in my photos that there is a number written under the man's hair at the neck. Looking thru a magnifier on the actual stopper pourer I can read in curly numbers: 269

Don't know what this is - if anyone else does - please email and educate me.

Thank-you to a collector who has advised me that the numbers do indicate ANRI models. After closer inspection I can also see number "269" is on the main body of the stopper pourer high on the back of the neck. YEA! to the collector who becomes the new owner of this piece of original and vintage ANRI !!!
