Vtg Celluloid Faux Ivory Amethyst RS Claw Charm Offered for your consideration is a Vintage Celluloid Faux Ivory Amethyst Rhinestone Claw Charm or Pendant Has a purple glass paste amethyst on each side of the design inset with a rope border I would guess the age 1920-1940 but could be much older than that. I believe the claw portion is faux ivory but it could be real? Measures approx 1 1/8 tall. I placed a dime in some of the photos to give you an idea of size and scale. If you need additional measurements, let me know. (some photos are shown close up to show detail) Has some wear to the gold color on the setting. (it has been like this for many, many years so possibly it was made like this?) Metal does not stick to a magnet so it is possibly pewter with gold wash maybe? Ivory color claw portion has some age related crazing to the surface. (see photos) Need to be cleaned, polished a bit but I will leave that to the buyer.
