Hi & "Thank You" for coming by to view my listing! :) I have ~32~ (+ a BONUS...10 more blocks, that I found tonight, the night after listing, ...that you can see in the last picture.) olde quilt blocks that I found in a trunk at my Grandmother's house. She passed away summer before last, liking one month of turning ~97~. She lived on her own, in her house, until three weeks before she died. ~Bless her heart!~ :) We later found these olde quilt blocks in a trunk made from olde feedsack materials & blocked together with this wonderfull olde blue calico print. The squares measure 5"...& pieced together in blocks of four...measure about 9 1/2" square. Some are hand-sewn & some are machine stitched. T is a variety of flower print designs with vibrant, bright colors, along with the great blue calico print. All the blocks are sewn with the feedsack material & two calico blue blocks. For some reason, t are also a couple of Christmas colors thrown in, with the green & white checked material, & the red & white polka dot material. :) I was unsure how to picture these, but I did the best I could. In the second picture, t is one block of each print. The third & fourth pictures, I marked with post-its on the number of blocks. ??? The fifth picture shows that some of the blue calico squares are pieced together. The last picture shows how that one little block was pieced on that tiny corner. - -Can you imagine having to sew all your clothes, your blankets, & quilts? -Thank goodness, we don't have too!!! :) I didn't wash any of these blocks. I only ironed the ones I pictured. T are light stains on some...but, I honestly think, nothing too bad that some oxy-clean would not take out. -In my opinion. I've used it...it works great! :) Thanks for viewing & email any questions you might have. ...~L~...
