Up for bid is a vintage Craftsman 1/4" Drive Socket Set with the original metal case. This set deffinately needs some cleaning . The tools are all solid and not really rusty but oxidated. They should clean up with some steel wool and some cleaner. We cleaned the larger pieces up with some steel wool and cleaner and they came up some as you can see. We wanted to make sure the ratchet and t-bar were in working order which they are. The sockets and the case are what really need the cleaning. The sockets are in the following sizes"7/32",1/4", 1/4" 8pt,9/32",5/16",5/16" 8pt, 11/32",3/8" and 7/16". The set also includes a skiding t-bar ,a flex joint bar,a 2 7/8" & 6" extension and a ratchet. The tools all appear to have a flat industrial style finish. They may have been chrome or polished at one point but can't tell. The case is not dentedbut does have a slight overbite. The front has a couple little imperfections looking at the accent marks which are off and one looks a little bent but not bad. Overall this is a usable socket set that is U.S. made and is Craftsman quality. This set would look sharp cleaned up and with the box refinished . If you have any questions feel free to ask.
