Up for auction is a Vintage DETECTO Scale made of cast Iron . The double sided Face plate reads Detecto scales Inc.Brooklyn, NY U.S.A.Reg.US Pat. off. The Jacobs Bros. co. Patent number 21M 33 / 21M12B / Series 26 S, These Numbers are on the casting, can not read it on the face.Capacity 20 lbs by 1 oz. This scale is 1/4 oz off and I do not know how to set it. Has the Original Granite Ware Plate .Which has some chips, The Face plate on the double side shows dark and alot of use, But the pounds and ounces are easy to read.
