Southern Belle & Vintage Embroidered Linens Cottage Style Rag Quilt For your bidding pleasure this week I'm offering this charming 70 wide by 78 long Southern Belle & Vintage Embroidered Linens Rag Quilt. Photo's show it being displayed on a queen size bed. Please allow page to load for lots of photo's for your viewing pleasure. Lovely vintage hand embroidered linens from southern belles to floral baskets mixed with a few of my own old fashion machine embroidered designs fashioned by vintage chenille and fabrics then blended with a bit of Laura Ashley hard to find prints adorns the top of this quilt. Also I have made this one a bit different for in person you will see different hues of the color lavender just to accent the pink and lavender chenille blocks. The reverse side is just as lovely as the front for I've used a vintage soft white with dainty rose print fabric then blended it with tiny pink and white gingham making it into a patchwork design. Soft and fluffy for some blocks consist of being three layers thick and others are four layers thick using cotton fabrics for the backside and chenille, cotton fabrics and vintage embroidered linens with some machine embroidered design fabrics for the top then using different layers soft and fluffy flannel for the batting.
