I WILL BE OUT OF THE COUNTRY FROM NOVEMBER 8TH THRU DECEMBER 12TH. I WILL HAVE ACCESS TO A COMPUTER TO READ E-MAILS AND MONITOR MY AUCTIONS. MY DAUGHTER WILL TAKE CARE OF ALL MAILINGS. I DO MAIL ONCE A WEEK, BUT IF YOUR PACKAGE TAKES A LITTLE LONGER TO RECEIVE, PLEASE BE PATIENT, YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR ITEM. This is a lovely set - quite unusual - dating to the late 19th early 20th C. The nightdress case is quite a substantial textile featuring wonderful gold thread work silk embroidery with a looped fringe edging which somewhat reminds me of Mountmellick work. This case measures 12x16" and in excellent condition. The other case is a quadrangle featuring 4 embroidered and fringed with a silk ribbon tie at the top to draw the case closed. The silk ribbon draw string is original. This was used for the ladies brush and comb and measures 9" at its' widest point and 13" long. This also is in excellent condition. Just a lovely set to have or to give as a gift. For some reason, I believe this might be from Scotland. I mail once a week because of my schedule. I accept Paypal which is preferable and Money Orders. I do not charge a handling fee - only the actual postage. I normally mail USPS 3-Day Priority, but I will mail parcel post for small items upon request. All international buyers will pay via Paypal, and please wait for an invoice before paying for your item. Mailing fees vary from country to country as well as weight. I send all international items via Airmail Letter Post or Airmail Parcel Post. My expertise is mainly in vintage linens and laces, and has been for the last 25 years. Vintage linens are exactly that and not always in perfect condition, which is normal due to age, etc. T can be minor mends, etc. which I will point out in my description.
