Offered is an elegant vintage gilt metal Florentine urn vase that measures 10 inches tall by almost 10" wide across its top by 6.26" from side to side on the underside of its base. The top bowl section of the vase or urn is about 2.25" deep. The piece is in great used condition...I see an area of minor tarnish...not rust on the inside bottom of the bowl (pic. # 4)...This piece had a vintage flower arrangement in it when I bought it this morning at an estate sale, so I believe that these discolorations are from the floral clay used to hold the flower arrangement in place...I also see a tiny few tenths of an inch gold gilt loss on one side of the the urn's eight-sided base (pic. # 9)...This is fairly minor...Otherwise, I see no additional chips, cracks, stains, discolorations, bends, breaks, signs of excessive use or abuse or damages of any kind on the piece. The bowl on the urn is made of metal tole leaves with a lovely gold gilt color. I also see that the middle of the piece shows three roses and their leaves, while the bottom of the piece appears to be made from gesso-covered gold gilt wood. I see a tiny metal tag on one of the roses that says "Made in Italy", and I also see stamp on the underside of the piece that repeats this informations.
