This is a nice piece of vintage 'Frankoma art pottery' in the form of their 'Frankoma 53 Nautilus'. This shape makes it an ideal planter or vase, it depends on your needs. It has been previously owned and used. Apart from the chip on the top rim (please see our pictures), this piece is in very good condition. We've just looked at it again, and it does look like 'a line' extends away from the chip on both sides. It doesn't look like a crack, it looks more like a 'fracture in the glaze', caused by the actual chip. In other words, to us it looks like that when the chip was caused, the stress extended out through the glaze without actually fracturing the pot itself . It stands about 6" Tall x 7" Long x 4" Wide.
